A top-load washer and electric dryer set costs $64.99/month plus applicable tax. One washer or one electric dryer costs $39.99/month plus tax.
Is Desert Star rent-to-own or financing?
No. We offer month-to-month rentals only. Rental payments do not lead to ownership of the appliance.
Are contracts month-to-month from the beginning?
Yes. Rentals are month-to-month from day one. The signed rental agreement explains notice requirements and payments.
Do you run credit checks or require a deposit?
Call or text Desert Star to confirm the current identification, payment, credit-check, and deposit requirements before arranging delivery.
Is standard delivery and installation included?
Yes. Standard delivery and installation are included, provided there are suitable hookups and your location is in the service area.
What kind of washers and dryers do you rent?
Top-load washing machines and standard electric dryers. Models, brands, and whether the pair matches depend on availability.
Will the machine look exactly like the pictures?
Not necessarily. Photos show real examples, not a guarantee of the exact appliance or a matching set.
What do I need in my home?
Suitable hot/cold water connections, a drain, and electrical connection for a washer; for an electric dryer, the correct electrical connection and ventilation. Confirm compatibility before delivery.
Who pays for water, electricity, and detergent?
The customer provides household utilities and laundry supplies. The monthly rental is for the appliances and included services, not utilities.
What if a washer or dryer stops working?
Contact Desert Star. Normal mechanical maintenance is included. Misuse damage is treated separately under the signed agreement.
When is the first payment due?
The first monthly payment is due at delivery. Monthly automatic payments follow the agreed billing date.
How do cancellations work?
Submit the required cancellation request through the designated website process at least 30 days before the next billing date. Otherwise the next rental month is charged in full. Contact Desert Star if you need help locating the cancellation process.
Can I move the equipment?
Do not relocate it yourself without arranging it with Desert Star. The agreement includes one relocation in each successive 12 months; additional relocations cost $45.

Can I reserve a washer and dryer online?
Please call or text to confirm equipment availability and coordinate delivery. The rental agreement and payment setup are completed in person at delivery.
Can I rent only a washer or only a dryer?
Yes, subject to inventory. One appliance costs $39.99/month plus tax.
Can I use a rented appliance in a laundromat or commercial business?
Ask Desert Star about the intended location and permitted use before signing. The website primarily describes household rentals.
